Hrithik to start Kaabil shoot in February 2016
Sanjay Gupta’s next directorial venture starring Hrithik Roshan and produced by Rakesh Roshan, is titled Kaabil and is ready to hit the floors in February next year. The film will be shot over a period of three months — the shortest span Hrithik has ever dedicated to any film.
He will wrap up the shoot of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjo Daro and take on Gupta’s project almost immediately.
It was earlier believed that Kareena Kapoor will play the leading lady in the film. But Gupta took to Twitter to deny the news and clarify that the female lead hasn’t been finalised yet.
Says a source close to the project, “The film will be shot in Mumbai and a few other places that are yet to be finalised. After finishing this film, Hrithik will start shooting for Vijay Krishna Acharya’s next project.” Director Sanjay Gupta stayed unavailable for comment, but when contacted, producer Rakesh Roshan said, “It’s too early to comment as nothing is finalised as yet.”
