Mohit Suri bids adieu to the Bhatts

Their collaboration has given Bollywood a number of big hits including the cult musical Ashiqui 2. But the Bhatts and director Mohit Suri have called it quits on their relationship owing to differences in remunerations. Suri, who played a big part in making Ashiqui 2 a runaway success, will not be directing Aashiqui 3.

A source close to the development says, “Mohit has been unhappy about the money he has been making for a while now. For Aashiqui 2 he was promised a certain amount, which he eventually did not get. This time he was very sure of the money that he wanted. But the Bhatts seem reluctant to pay what Mohit has demanded. That’s why Mohit decided to exit the Bhatt camp.”
