No hard feelings
Sidharth Malhotra says all’s well between him and Katrina since his foot-in-mouth moment
Sidharth Malhotra had gotten into a sticky situation a few months ago when he had insinuated — unintentionally perhaps — that Katrina Kaif was his senior. “I had watched her films in college, hope I won’t look like a junior on screen,” he was quoted as saying in an interview. But the two seem to have put the statement and the awkwardness that followed, behind them.
“We have been bonding over our love for fitness and sharing tips with each other. I am a fitness freak and so is she, so even after a hard day at work, we enjoy working out. She is a lovely co-star and it is our first film together, so it’ll take a while, but there’s no problem,” said Sidharth referring to their equation on the sets of their upcoming film Baar Baar Dekho.
But it’s not all work for Sidharth. The actor has been living it up in New Zealand as the country’s tourism board’s Indian ambassador. “It’s a coincidence that I had been thinking of going to New Zealand during New Year and I got a call from them to be the ambassador. I’ve been trying the outdoor activities here and also catching up with the Indian community in NZ,” he says and adds, “Since my dad was in Merchant Navy, I have memories of travelling a lot with him and I am reliving those now.”
