Nora Fathehi steps into the Bigg Boss house
The sizzling Moroccan beauty Nora Fathehi, who was recently seen in Baahubali, is the latest to enter Bigg Boss. Although she featured in only one song in Baahubali, the actress admits that the film has put her in the spotlight. “Baahubali is my favourite project. I didn’t even think twice before signing the film when Rajamouli sir directly called me. I was roped in when the film was supposed to be only in Telegu; Karan Johar hadn’t stepped in then. The reaction I got for my performance was something I haven’t got for any other project till date. My phone has been ringing ever since.”
Speaking about her new and upcoming projects, Nora says, “I have two Bollywood releases next and an English film with Karan Singh Grover.”
So now that she is all set to get locked in the Bigg Boss house, what will she miss most about the outside world “I will miss ghar ka khana and my best friend. I’m not attached to materialistic things,” she points out.
Nora names fellow foreigner and now co-contestant, Mandana Karimi when asked who impressed her the most this season, “Mandana has caught my attention. Despite being a foreigner, she’s holding the house down and is able to take control. In the past, foreign contestants like Natasa Stankovic and Hazel Keech would just blend in the background because their Hindi was not that good; but in Mandana’s case she doesn’t care and gets herself noticed.”
Being a wildcard entry, Nora admits that she worries about how other contestants will react to her. “The fact that they have already spent about 50 days in the house and gone through much more, makes me feel bad for them. However, on the other hand, although there are two months left, I can say that I didn’t have enough time to impress the audience.” She is aware of the task that lies ahead. “I will have to actually work harder to connect with the viewers,” Nora says.
She is very confident about this stint and seems to be quite clear in the head. She says, “I haven’t put a lot of thought into it. I’m just going to go in, bindaas. I’m not going to get into fights, I will just have fun; but I won’t let anyone walk all over me. And if I do get into a fight, I don’t think I will be dragging it.”
