Now, Alia Bhatt to play a superhero too

With superhero movies doing fantastic business all over the world, and in India too, Ayan Mukerji is lapping up the trend too. After Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, the duo is coming together again for a film temporarily titled Dragon. The movie will star Ranbir as a superhero and from what we’ve just learned, so will Alia. Rumours also point to Amitabh Bachchan being roped in to play a pivotal role in Dragon.

Earlier, we had reported that Ranbir will have the power to throw fire through his hands in the movie. Now, thanks to recent developments, it looks like Alia too will have superpowers in the film. Says a source, “Along with Ranbir, other characters including Alia Bhatt will also have superpowers in the film. The title Dragon will also go in for a title change. It’s just a working title as of now.”

Ayan, during the stage of writing the script had many options in mind, as far as Ranbir’s superpower was concerned. However, he finally zeroed in on his ability to throw fire. It will be interesting to see how it plays up on the big screen.
