Parineeti Chopra’s solo act

Parineeti Chopra’s last few outings have not fared well on the box office.

Parineeti Chopra’s last few outings have not fared well on the box office. Last seen in a special dance number called Jaaneman, alongside Varun Dhawan in Dishoom, the actress is now focusing on solo heroine movies.

“Parineeti has been rejecting several multi-starrer films, which include Mubaraka and Judwaa 2,” reveals a close source. “She walked out of Circus too recently. She will be seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Ayushmaan Khurrana, and has started shooting for Takadum, alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Her mentor, Aditya Chopra, has also been guiding the actress in choosing solo heroine films, outside the YRF camp.”

Now, after several speculations, it has also been revealed that Parineeti will be playing the solo heroine in Golmaal Again opposite Ajay Devgn. Rohit Shetty, who last directed Dilwaale, is making a comeback to his supremely successful franchise. Rohit reportedly wanted a bubbly actress for the role. Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor were in contention for it, but Pari has finally been locked for Golmaal Again.
