There were reports that Salman Khan was in talks with A.R. Murugadoss for a film and we now hear that the project is still very much on. Salman had met the filmmaker earlier this year to discuss a project, but it isn’t very clear whether the proposed film is a remake of an older Murugadoss film or a fresh script altogether. The actor has tentatively agreed to be part of the film that will mostly go on the floors at the end of the next year, 2016.

While Salman has a few films to work on next year, Murugadoss is also busy shooting Akira with Amit Sadh and Sonakshi Sinha right now. It is only after Akira wraps up that he will turn his attention to the Salman-starrer.

There are reports that brother-in-law and former actor Atul Agnihotri will be producing the film. When contacted he said, “I cannot discuss it right now, but yes, we are in talks. Nothing will happen before December. I can talk about the film only after December.”

Salman is shooting for Sultan right now, and then there also talks of him doing Dabangg-3 and before Murugadoss's film.
