Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is known to be tech-savvy, hosted Apple’s CEO Tim Cook at Mannat on Wednesday night. According to sources, Tim had expressed his desire to meet Shah Rukh.
Tim, who is on his first official visit to the country, is here to set up a software laboratory in India to help Indian startups and developers working on the company’s iOS platform to generate more content and apps. The Apple chief arrived late on Tuesday night and is expected to meet the PM along with a few other officials and engineers later this week.
Shah Rukh Khan hosted a lavish dinner for Tim on Wednesday night and invited friends from the world of business and cinema. A source revealed, “Tim’s team got in touch with SRK’s team and asked if a meeting can be arranged. SRK, who is in Mumbai for the time being decided to host a dinner for him.”
It is said that Cook is a big fan of the actor’s work. SRK left no stone unturned to ensure he played the perfect host. “A huge spread of Indian and continental food was laid out on the table,” a source added.
