Hansal Mehta and Kangana Ranaut are finally set to work together. The movie, which was originally titled Simran, is now set to undergo a title change, confirmed a source close to the project. There were reports doing the rounds that the actress was in two minds about working in Hansal’s next. However, later, Kangana confirmed the news, saying, “I am very much doing Hansal sir’s film.”
Hansal is hoping to start shooting for the movie once she finishes shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. He says, “I like shooting in real locations and my last few films I have shot in India, in smaller cities. But I will be shooting this one in the US. After Kangana finishes shooting for Rangoon, we will start with this film.”
The source added, “Kangana will go for a major transformation for this role. She plays a Gujarati girl and will be taking time for to prep for the shoot. She hopes to wrap Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon by April and then she will start working on this project.”
