Sources close to Sonam Kapoor tell us that the actress has an obsession with royal heirloom jewellery and is all set to add some more pieces of bold baubles to her beautiful collection during her upcoming shoot schedule. Our source says, “Sonam will soon be in Rajasthan for a shoot schedule of Khoobsoorat. She plans to get there before the schedule begins so she can indulge in a bit of shopping. Since Rajasthan is known for its royalty and heavy jewellery, Sonam plans to pick up some pieces to add to her collection. She already owns a few pieces but wants to pick up some more during her the trip.” Sonam has been telling her friends that she loves vintage jewellery more than contemporary and modern pieces — they are beautifully handcrafted, giving special attention to detail. Also the designs and the stones, the actress believes, will never go out of fashion. They are ever-green and can complement the most modern of outfits. “Sonam loves the old-world charm with almost everything. She’s a big fan of vintage artifacts and style. Also since her mother is a jewellery designer herself, the actress has an eye for picking up rare pieces and designs when it comes to accessories.
