Tom Hanks is a legendary actor: Rana Daggubati

A lot of Bollywood actors like Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan and Om Puri have given voiceovers for many Hollywood films in the past.

On October 14, the awaited Hollywood film Inferno is releasing. And actor Rana Daggubati has lent his voice for Tom Hanks’ character in the film, for the Telugu version. Rana has been busy shooting for Baahubali but when he saw the film’s trailer, he agreed to lend his voice. In fact, he had to do the dubbing at night, since the days were packed with the shooting schedule but the actor isn’t complaining. “I’ve enjoyed all the books by Dan Brown. Tom Hanks is a legendary actor and to be a part of his legacy in this way made for an exciting partnership. I will be able to look back and feel proud of having memorable characters like Bhallaldev and Robert Langdon to my credit,” says the actor.

“As an actor, I learnt a lot while dubbing for an actor of the calibre of Tom Hanks. Before they recorded my voice, I did a small test for myself where I recorded my voice and that helped me,” says Rana.
