Vin Diesel recites the Bhagavad Gita
Deepika Padukone certainly seems to have made an impression on her XXX co-star Vin Diesel. Diesel, we hear, is now deeply into not just Bollywood, but also India and Indian spirituality. He even recorded a Diwali greeting message in Hindi along with Deepika, for his Indian fans.
Deepika has now convinced her co-star to visit India during the Indian premiere of XXX: The Return Of The Xander, in January 2017. In fact, Viacom 18, the production house that has produced the film, has planned an enormous Indian welcome for Vin Diesel.
“Deepika will be Vin Diesel’s unofficial host during his Indian visit, just as Anil Kapoor hosted Tom Cruise when the latter came to India for Mission Impossible,” informs a source.
Diesel seems to be surely enamoured with all things Indian. What’s more In his new release, Ang Lee’s war film, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, he is even heard quoting from the Bhagavad Gita. “Deepika and Diesel would spend a lot of time discussing India, Bollywood and Hindu mysticism. It is no coincidence that he quotes from the Bhagavad Gita in Ang Lee’s new film. Deepika is positively playing the part of India’s goodwill ambassador in Hollywood,” admits a source.
