Well done, Sunny!
Choreographer Gaiti cheers for Sunny Leone after the latter held her own through a grilling interview that grabbed headlines earlier this week
Sunny Leone’s recent interview with a news channel has been in the news for two reasons — the journalist’s aggressive questioning and Sunny’s poise through the grilling — mostly the latter. Gaiti who choreographed Sunny in Baby Doll along with her partner Uma says she wasn’t one bit pleased with the interview, but was proud of Sunny for having held her head high. “When I saw the interview, I was a little ticked off. The gentleman interviewing Sunny was instigating her to say things that would make the interview sensational for the viewers and it was incredibly obvious that she was getting uncomfortable. She is a lovely girl and incredibly honest about her work.”
As someone who has worked with Sunny, Gaiti is aware of the curiosity that surrounds the actor. “We all have a past and I think it’s time that people realise what she is here for and even if people don’t acknowledge that, don’t push her in a corner and keep bashing her for her past. She has no regrets about what she used to do and why should she We make choices in our life and if she doesn’t regret it, why are people constantly trying to make her feel bad about it What’s lovely about her is that she doesn’t crib and finds humour in everything. I am often asked if I’ve watched her ‘previous work’ but why would I Will it help me choreograph her better No. I am not going to dig up her history. I owe her that much respect as a woman.”
