Why is Mika Singh quiet

While Arijit Singh’s public apology has put him in the eye of the storm, now we hear that it’s not just Arijit who has been given the short end of the stick by Salman.

If sources are to be believed, then the song featured in Sultan’s trailer was initially sung by singer Mika Singh. Mika had sung the song in Haryanvi, but when Salman heard the song he felt that his voice would suit the song better. So after the song was recorded, Salman dubbed the song in his voice and that’s the version that has made it to the trailer.

However, unlike Arijit, Mika Singh has decided to stay quiet about it and apparently doesn’t want to draw any media attention to this incident. “Mika and Salman have known each other for years now. When Salman decided to dub it in his voice, Mika readily said yes and had no objections. It’s not the first time this has happened with Mika. Even during Kick, Mika had initially sung Jumme Ki Raat and Salman had later recorded the song in his voice,” said a source.

On the other hand, Arijit Singh has gained a little too much attention by apologising to Salman publicly about a comment he made at an awards ceremony. Even when quizzed about the incident, Mika and the production house did not reply to our queries.
