Renaults reports increase in car sales in India
The company reported 26.8 per cent increase in sales at 11,198 units in India in February.

The deal being discussed would include guarantees covering corporate governance and employment in France and Italy.
New Delhi: French auto major Renault today reported 26.8 per cent increase in sales at 11,198 units in India in February compared to the year-ago month. The company's arm, Renault India, had sold 8,834 units in the same month last year.
Over the last few years, Renault has focused on establishing a strong base in India and has become one of the youngest and fastest growing automotive brands in the country, the company said in a statement.
Apart from its product offensive strategy to drive volumes in India, Renault is also substantially increasing its sales and network reach here and achieved a target of 270 dealership network nationwide at the end of 2016, it added.
