17th edition of Divyang Talent Show in Ahmedabad organized by NSS
Ahmedabad: 40 differently-abled participants held the audience captive with their energetic performances at the 17th Divyang Talent show at Ahmedabad on March 1st, 2020. Hailed as ‘Divya Heroes’ the participants enthralled one and all present with their special performances like dance and stunts and were appreciated by the chief guest on the occasion actor Mr. Dilip Joshi.
A memorable evening for Ahmedabad, where the viewer’s enthusiasm by solid performance cheered for the 40 Divya Heroes. More than an entertainment event, the talent show captured the essence of the very principles that make India a great country, it reflected on the sentiments of equality, accessibility and opportunity to bring everyone together in the mainstream.
The audience were amazed by the confidence exhibit by the participants in ramp walk and complicated stunts on Mal- Khamb and wheelchair. Performances of Suresh, Shubham, Jagdish Patel, YogeshPrajapati, and BajrangNehra drew large rounds of applause.
Chief Guest, Television Actor, Dilip Joshi, also applauded the “Divyaheroes talent show” as an inspiring and trend-setting initiative. Talking about the show, Dilip Joshi said, “Differently abled have a crucial role to play in shaping New India. Just breaking the physical stereotype is not enough, it requires more attention to bring out the best in them by utilizing their potential, inspiring society and encourage them to prosper towards a better future. He said that Narayan SevaSansthan is setting up an inspiring example for society by providing a vibrant platform for such individuals.”
According to Divya Hero and talent show performer, Shubham, “Narayan SevaSansthan is a ray of hope for individuals like us who have now been truly accepted and treated equally as the rest.”
Mr. Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan SevaSansthan, says that “Our focus is at amplifying their potential and helping them to serve the society better, all they require is an opportunity to present themselves. All our initiatives like World of Humanity (WOH), Skill Training Program,
Corrective Surgery, Food distribution campaigns and limb distribution camp across the world contribute towards the goal.”
NSS initiative World of Humanity will be 450 Bedded Hospital with State of the Art Amenities & Facilities for Specially Abled People. It will be first such institution in India that along with mechanized Manufacturing Facility for Artificial Limbs will also offer the specially-abled free of cost Vocational Training, Centre for Research and Development.
