Airtel offers 30GB free data under Monsoon Surprise
Offer is valid on its Rs 499, Rs 649 and Rs 799 postpaid plans, says report.
Mumbai: Bharti Airtel that has received biggest hit and loss in revenue due to arrival of Reliance Jio in India's telecom market has come up with a latest free offer Monsoon Surprise for its post-paid users effective July 1, 2017.
For the said offer, Airtel has extended its earlier Data Surprise offer and converted it into Monsoon Surprise exclusively for its post-paid customers. The company has said it is giving 10GB free data every month for the identified customers.
"Airtel's offer is valid on its Rs 499, Rs 649 and Rs 799 postpaid plans," a report on NDTV said. A company spokesperson said that the offer under Monsoon Surprise scheme could be availed of by activating it on MyAirtel app.
"The company is sending another shower of data for three more billing cycles, as part of Monsoon Surprise," NDTV quoted Bharti Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal as saying to subscribers in an email.
The free data offer is only valid on 4G handsets and after three months, it will be automatically withdrawn, the company said on its website.
