Bharat Bank awarded ‘Sarvotkrustha Bank Puraskar-2019’
The award was given by Maharashtra Urban Co-op Banks’ Federation Ltd.
Mumbai: The Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd a leading Multi-State Scheduled bank in the co-operative sector popularly known as ‘Bharat Bank’ has been awarded with “Sarvotkrustha Bank Puraskar-2019” by “The Maharashtra Urban Co-op Banks’ Federation Ltd.” in the category of banks having deposits of Rs. 5,000 crore and above.
The Award was presented by Mr. Vidyadhar V. Anaskar – Chairman and Mr. Ramakant U. Khetan – Vice Chairman of The Maharashtra Urban Co-op Banks’ Federation Ltd. Mr. C. R. Mulky – M.D and C.E.O along with Mr. Vidyanand S. Karkera - M.D and C.E.O (Designate) and Mr. Dinesh B. Salian – Jt. M.D received the Award On behalf of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd.
Dr. Jagdish Patil - IAS, MSC, Ph.D. (Horticulture), Marathwada Agricultural University - Parbhani, Commissioner for Cooperation Registrar of Cooperative Societies was Chief Guest for the event and was present along with the other Directors of the Federation at the event.
Bharat Bank had been Awarded Best Bank -First Prize from The Brihan Mumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association Ltd for the overall performance during the F.Y. 2018-19. The Bank has also received Best Mobile Banking App Award and Best Debit Card Initiative Award from Banking Frontiers.
