Tanla Solutions pulls out of Mobile World Congress due to coronavirus scare
CMD Uday Reddy says the company had geared up to showcase its next-gen solutions at MWC
Bengaluru: Cloud communications provider Tanla Solutions has pulled out of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 scheduled to take place during February 24-27 in Barcelona, Spain, citing employee safety concerns due to the coronavirus scare.
Given the spread of the China-centred epidemic, Tanla and its wholly owned subsidiary Karix Mobile said they would not exhibit or participate in the global mobile industry event.
Last year, Tanla had announced its advanced blockchain communication suite at MWC.
Tanla Solutions CMD Uday Reddy said, "We were geared up to showcase our next-gen solutions (at MWC) but after several discussions we decided to withdraw our participation."
