Salman Khan roped in as face of Parle Appy Fizz

New Delhi: Beverage major Parle Agro on Thursday said it has signed Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the face of its popular brand Appy Fizz.

Associating with Salman Khan is a part of Appy Fizz's large scale marketing investments, aiming to further strengthen the brand's connect with millions of consumers across India, Parle Agro said in a statement.

Salman joins the existing list of brand ambassador of the company's products with Alia Bhatt as the face for Frooti and its variants and Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun for Frooti in south India.

"Appy Fizz has established a strong foothold in the market over the years and with this collaboration, we want to further build the brand through aggressive marketing initiatives," Parle Agro Joint MD and CMO Nadia Chauhan said.

Salman will feature in the new 'FeelTheFizz' campaign for Appy Fizz, the company said adding it aims to take the fruit plus fizz category to Rs 4,000 crore.

Parle Agro has brands like Frooti, Appy, Frooti Fizz, Appy Fizz, Bailley, among others.
