New Delhi: Whether it’s a conversation around climate change, entrepreneurship or women’s health, world over, we often notice ‘all male’ panels, commonly known as ‘manels’. This trend has given rise to several social media ‘manel watchdogs’, which regularly call out panels lacking in female representation via provocative gifs, tweets and other forms of protest.

TiE Delhi-NCR, one of the most awarded & active chapters of TiE, a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship & SHEROES, the women-only social network have joined hands to ensure women representation in event panels. TiE Delhi-NCR regularly hosts panels across the spectrum of entrepreneurship and through this much-needed step wants to flip this trend by partnering with SHEROES. The aim of this partnership is to identity the best women speakers and experts in every field, ensuring representation of women across all events and activities. SHEROES, the women-only social network has a stellar reputation for hosting power-packed all-women panels at the SHEROES Summit, its annual flagship event.
