Even after two days, the Delhi police has failed to arrest two other accused for the murder of a 29-year-old Congolese national, identified as Masonda Ketada Olivier.
The police had arrested Mobin Azad Saifi (23), a resident of Mehrauli, on Saturday but two other accused, Mukesh and Prakash, are absconding. Prakash is on bail after serving two months in jail for molesting a girl and Mukesh is also on bail after three months in jail for causing grievous injuries to a man.
“All of the accused met each other in jail. After getting out on bail, they planned to meet on Friday. They met and consumed alcohol at Kisangarh village and planned a visit to a food joint in Chhattarpur for dinner,” said the police.
Some 20 police teams have been dispatched to nab the absconding accused. “We have got vital inputs about the hideouts of both the accused. The police will arrest them at the earliest,” said a senior police officer.
