Ambedkar University will increase 200 undergraduate seats in Karampura Campus
To squeeze in more undergraduate students, Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is all set to increase about 200 undergraduate seats for the 2016-2017 academic session in the Karampura Campus, made available in time to the varsity.
In a unique solution to the space and seat crunch, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College under DU has handed over its old campus to AUD for housing its next batch.
The additional campus will be offering four undergraduate level courses, including B.A. (Honours) Economics/ English/ Psychology/ Social Science and Humanities from August 1. At present, these four programmes are being offered in the university’s Kashmere Gate Campus.
“All preparations have been made for the additional Karampura Campus. All the four undergraduate courses would have about 200 seats with 50 seats each in every course” deputy registrar Sarmishtha Roy said.
