A 41-year-old charted accountant fell to death under mysterious circumstances from his flat located on the eight floor of a high-rise building in east Delhi on Thursday evening.

A 41-year-old charted accountant fell to death under mysterious circumstances from his flat located on the eight floor of a high-rise building in east Delhi on Thursday evening. The police registered a murder case.

The police said that it received a PCR call at 8 pm about a man found dead in the parking lot of Milan Vihar Apartment in Madhu Vihar area. The PCR call was made by the security guard of the society.

“The security guard informed the police that Govind Vallabh, who lives in eighth floor of the society, was found in a pool of blood in the parking area of the apartment. His family members were informed immediately about the incident. The man was taken to the hospital with the help of PCR, where doctors declared him brought dead,” said Rishi Pal, DCP (East). The family members of the victim said that they are clueless about how Vallabh fell from the balcony of their flat. They were in the flat when he incident occurred.

The police has registered a murder case against unknown person and initiated an inquiry into the matter.

“We have registered a murder. We will question family members and security guards of the society to get any clue about the incident. The CCTV footage of the society has been already obtained by police for further investigation,” added Mr Pal.
