Prior to the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party had coined a slogan, “Paanch Saal Kejriwal (Five Years of Kejriwal).” On the completion of the party’s one year in office on February 14, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s government is all set to coin a new slogan, “Ek Saal Bemisaal (One Incredible Year)”, to drive home the message that his administration has done remarkably well in Delhi.

At a recent high-level meeting with his Cabinet colleagues and senior officers, Mr Kejriwal is said to have told his ministers to highlight all the achievements during the AAP’s one-year governance. He is learnt to have told his ministers that they should prepare a report card on the performance of their respective departments so that the same can be highlighted on completion of the government’s one year in office.

The CM held the meeting in Delhi after he returned from Bengaluru on completing 10-day naturopathy treatment for his chronic cough at a private medical institute.

A highly-placed source said that once the report card of each ministry is ready, it would be analysed threadbare by the CMO. “If any minister has not performed up to the mark, there are chances that the CM may go for a Cabinet reshuffle.”

So far, the Aam Aadmi Party Cabinet has removed only two ministers and both were replaced with new faces.
