Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has planned to partner with educational institutions in order to make it easier for students to use their resources directly.

The school is also planning to launch a common online portal consisting all the learning and teaching materials, once the partnership is finalised with the concerned educational institutions.

“The main aim behind this partnership is to make it easier for students to use the resources of those institutions directly without any hassle. SOL administration will be holding a meeting next week for deciding upon the names of the institutions. We have started gearing up to teach students by making all the necessary resources available for them,” said Campus of Open Learning director C.S. Dubey.

Institute of Life Long Lea-rning (ILLL) at the North Campus and Ignou provide with different types of academic resources. “These institutions have a variety of teaching materials available with them. Our effort is to pool in these resources in a much better way by getting into a partnership with these educational inst-itutions,” Prof. Dubey said.

A meeting has been called on October 15 in order to bring the plan into action.

The e-learning centre of Khalsa College is working on their digital initiative “E-Pathshala” for reaching out to the students across the country.
