Two sisters were allegedly attacked by a man who was stalking one of them for the last few days in Mewla Maharajpur village in Faridabad, leaving them injured.

Two sisters were allegedly attacked by a man who was stalking one of them for the last few days in Mewla Maharajpur village in Faridabad, leaving them injured. Tabassum and Tarannum, who are teachers in a nearby private school, were attacked on Monday by their neighbour Pankaj, who was in an inebriated state, the police said.

Pankaj, who was armed with an iron rod and a knife, barged into their home and hit Tarannum with the rod, the police said. As she rushed outside screaming for help, he stabbed Tabassum and injured her hands and legs. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital.
