Shahid Kapoor to attend a special screening of Padmaavat in Singapore
The actor will be heading to Singapore for a special screening of the movie organised by an NGO.
Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor, who has been appreciated for his role as Maharawal Ratan Singh in 'Padmaavat', has something special planned tomorrow.
The actor will be heading to Singapore for a special screening of the movie. An NGO, Food From The Heart is organising the event. The non-profit charity feeds the hungry through its food distribution programme.
Estqablished in 2003, by Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer, the NGO channels surplus food from bakeries to those in need. A source says “When Shahid got to know that the screening is being organised by an NGO, he instantly agreed to attend it.” The trip will, however, be a short one. Further adding to it Another source confirms the news, “Yes, Shahid is flying to Singapore tonight for the screening tomorrow. He will be there only for a day.
