I am majorly into fitness. So I follow a lot of pages that give information on fitness and nutrition.

Krishna Shroff might not have been on the big screen like her brother Tiger Shroff, but she has got a great fan following already. Just hop on to her Instagram account and you will know. It’s hip, hot and happening. You don’t get over 345K followers just like that, right? So I had to talk to Krishna about her interesting Instagram account and take a tip or two, and she was more than willing. Plus the fact that we spoke while she was getting inked, made it all the way more memorable for me. Excerpts from the interview:

First things first, tell me about this tattoo that you are getting right now. What is it all about?
For me there is not much thought that goes behind them. From my very first one, to the one I am getting done right now, there was never any thought that went into them. I just pick a design and see how it looks on the body and go with it.

Your Instagram account is quite vibrant and despite not being in front of the camera, you have quite a fan following there. How do you keep it so interesting? Any inspiration?
Honestly, nobody. It’s a very personal thing. Those are the pictures that I am feeling at the moment. There is no crazy thought behind any of the pictures that are there on my account. I am very ‘go with the flow’ kind of a person, I am not really a planner.

Which pages do you follow on Instagram?
I am majorly into fitness. So I follow a lot of pages that give information on fitness and nutrition. Just for my own knowledge.

If you had to pick a favourite, which one would it be?
Another passion of mine is that I follow UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) very closely. So I follow their page on Instagram to check what fight is coming up next. In an interview with us in 2015, you spoke about dealing with trolls. How do you deal with them now? Has anything changed from then to now?
You follow my Instagram account, do you think anything has changed? Do you really think I give a sh#t? See everyone is going to have their own opinion. Some things are right and some are wrong. But that is not going to stop me. I am very clear in my values. So I think I am alright. I don’t pay any heed to that.

There are quite a few black and white pictures on your account. What would you choose between monochrome and colour?
Colour any day. All those black and white pictures that you see on my account are shot by my photographer best friend, Divina Rikhye. She does all the editing and it’s her vision. But I am a colour person all the way. In fact, I am doing a colour piece right now and I am very excited to see how this will turn out to be.

What kind of brother is Tiger? Is he this extra protective kinds? Or does he lets you be?
He has changed a lot. When I was younger, he was definitely a lot more protective, like most elder brothers are. When I came back from college in 2013… so the two years that we spent away from each other kind of brought us closer. Ever since then… and then we worked together for Munna Michael. We were spending a lot of time together. So now he is more like my best friend. We share everything with each other. It’s all casual and chill. We give each other advice.

You are a star kid, there is no denying that. And there is a lot of scrutiny on you guys. What do you make of all this attention?
Every kid is going to handle it differently. Like I said, when I was younger, I did feel a certain pressure, because I didn’t want to let anyone down. But now I am super okay with following my own direction. I don’t really wake up everyday and think that ‘oh, I am a star kid.’ That doesn’t really cross my mind. So I don’t really give into those pressures. I just listen to myself. My family has been very supportive, touch wood. They are happy with every decision that I make. And it lets me do what I really want to do.
