Alia Bhatt to turn producer?

All of 24 years old, Alia Bhatt has already experienced immense success in her career, bagging the best actress awards for Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi this year and delivering back-to-back hits since last year. Seems like the actress is not in a mood to let go of this success and wouldn’t even mind producing films now.

A close source to the actress reveals, “Alia now wants to venture into production as she feels that it is never too early to try new things in life. The actress has been inspired by Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. Apparently, Alia is planning to consult her father Mahesh Bhatt before entering into production.”

Recently, Richa Chadha had also ventured into production with a Punjabi short film Khoon Ali Chithi. There were also reports about Isha Koppikar and Pallavi Sharda turning producers but nothing has been confirmed from their end. With actresses making their foray into production, looks like the time isn’t very far when the industry will see many female producers making good films.
