Vivek Oberoi accidentally promotes ‘Bharat’ on Twitter

While Vivek Oberoi did comment on a tweet involving Aishwarya Rai, the actor was again trolled for accidentally promoting Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bharat.

Oberoi, whose latest film PM Narendra Modi — a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi — received a lukewarm response, was in Delhi to attend Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. To commemorate the occasion, the actor tweeted: “I’m watching @narendramodi bhai taking his oath for the 3rd time on his journey from CM Gujarat to PM of Bharat once again!”.

Fans and trolls, however caught onto the word “Bharat” in the middle of the tweet and decided to take their shots.

“Bharat movie ka promotion kiya abhi,” tweeted a user, among a host of others who realised that Vivek had used the name of Salman’s upcoming film in his tweet.

Meanwhile, some Twitter users asked the actor to join politics and others quizzed him about a sequel to the Modi biopic.
