RGV rants against Chiranjeevi's Khaidi No 150 poster
Ram Gopal Varma has once again taken his outspoken, inappropriate ways to Twitter. Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi, who’ll be making a comeback with Khaidi No. 150, has been appreciated for his latest songs and teaser posters. However, RGV wasn’t too impressed with the actor’s attire and took to Twitter to express his displeasure.
Being snarky as ever, he tweeted, “Wowwww Madame Tussaud will throw half her museum out for this ..Want to touch feet of designer and director and who convinced mega star (sic).” He added, “This is upper limit of the height of narcissm and the lower limit of the depth of its opposite ..Wilhelm Hegel would have kissed Mega Star (sic)” he went on, never letting go of his sarcasm. “Can I please have the name, number and address of the designer and others around Mega Star who convinced him to put out a pose like this (sic),” he ranted.
The makers of Khaidi, incidentally, have been projecting the film as Chiranjeevi’s 150th, ever since it went on the floors. Ramu had earlier criticised Chiranjeevi’s cameo in his son Ram Charan’s movie Bruce Lee and urged him to refer to that film as his 150th. He also wasn’t approving of Chiranjeevi featuring in a remake and not an original, with Khaidi No. 150 being a remake of AR Murugadoss’ Vijay starrer Kaththi. But when the first look had been revealed, RGV backtracked and lapped it up like an absolute fan-boy. “Best look of Mega Star in his entire Career. Super classy-Super Intense With this pic Khaidi No.150 title ROCCCCKS, (sic)” he had tweeted.
He further went on to apologise for his earlier tweets criticising the much-adored actor. “After seeing this look I want to apologise to all his fans for whatever criticism I made in the past on his 150th,” read his tweet.
Though, most stars have chosen to ignore his internet criticism, pushing him aside like an irrelevant troll, RGV has persisted with ample rejuvenation. Chiranjeevi, like his contemporaries, might choose to ignore this one as well.
