It’s a boy!

Singer Sunidhi Chauhan, who had dropped off the radar last month for some much-needed maternity leave, gave birth to a baby boy at Surya Hospital in Santacruz on Monday.

The singer and her husband Hitesh Sonik are reportedly ecstatic about the birth of their first child. The happy couple’s doctor, Ranjana Dhanu, also sounded jubilant while announcing the birth.

“The baby and mother are both doing well. Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are proud with their little bundle of joy who arrived at 5.20 pm on January 1, 2018,” said Dr Ranjana in a statement.

“The delivery was uneventful, and the baby boy is healthy and doing well,” added Dr Bhupendra Avasthi, director, pediatrics at Surya Hospitals.
