Shahid Kapoor to collaborate with Rakeysh Mehra?

A couple of weeks ago, the paparazzi spotted filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra with Shahid Kapoor and as the pictures started circulating, talks about an association between the two started to make rounds. Now, according to our sources, Rakeysh has approached Shahid for a sport film.

“Mehra is interested to cast Shahid for a film based on kabbadi and even the actor has liked the script — only he hasn’t signed anything yet. Shahid’s dates are packed as of now but he would do it if things fall into place,” a source said. The film requires a lot of preparation and it would need a lot of time from Shahid if he agrees to come on board.

In the past, Hrithik Roshan was approved for the same film.

Mehra is currently prepping for his musical Fanney Khan and after that release, the director will start working on his next.
