Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt set the stage on fire with their camaraderie, wit and spunky quotes.

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt are among the stars that will be performing at the 18th Edition of IIFA to be held in New York this July. At the recently concluded IIFA press conference in Mumbai on Thursday evening, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif stole the show. Their camaraderie was easy and flirty, and it had everyone in splits.

It all started when a journalist asked Alia if they would see her working with Salman. To which she replied, “I don’t know, but I hope soon. I think you should request him to make it happen.”

“We are trying to remake the film Papa, the Great,” retorted Salman amidst laughter.

At which point Katrina interrupted saying, “Please leave Alia for Varun and Salman for me.” The audience was loving it.

When asked which places in New York would they be visiting, Alia said she’d go wherever Katrina would take her. And Salman added, “Katrina will go wherever I take her.”

One almost wished that the affinity was more than what meets the eye.

“What is the last thing you check before your performance,” someone asked Salman. “Two things. One is my breath, and the second is my zipper. Everyone does that,” said he.

Not the one big on awards, but Sultan has earned him a best actor nomination.

He says, “Best actor, definitely not me. I believe in rewards which I get through my fans, but awards are not mine. Take my name out of the nomination. I may give the award, but not receive it.”

Salman ended by saying, “IIFA is on 14 and 15 July, followed by Katrina’s birthday on 16. You might not get the opportunity to wish her that day, so you might as well sing Happy Birthday…”
