Sumeet Vyas to play Ram Jethmalani in ALTBalaji’s next

Actor Sumeet Vyas has paved the way for several actors into the growing digital medium. Apart from being a successful web star, Sumeet has become a known name within the film space too, especially after last year’s scene stealing performance in Veere Di Wedding.

And now the actor is all set to shed his boy-next-door charm for his next project. Vyas will play lawyer Ram Jethmalani in Ekta Kapoor’s next digital series titled The Verdict – State v/s Nanavati.

While prepping for the role, Vyas did not want to lay his hands on a subject that he is not familiar with. And so to understand the world of law and other relevant subjects, he took to spending time at a law firm for a few days to understand the nuances of the profession. He also went through past cases and studied material available to understand the workings of a law firm, the body language of a lawyer, and the jargon.
