Shakti Kapoor may be a menacing villain on screen, but as a father, he’s a total softie, never giving up an opportunity to praise his daughter. During a recent event for the promotion of his upcoming film, The Journey of Karma, when the actor was asked if he’d started looking for a groom for Shraddha, he said, “These days, children fix their own weddings. They choose who they like. My daughter has been educated in the US, but she knows every pooja by heart. She is an independent girl, but she follows tradition.”
He added that since he himself has had a love marriage, he had no reservations about either of his kids picking their own partners. “I am a Punjabi, and I married Shivangi, who is a Maharashtrian. It was a love marriage. So, if Shraddha or my Siddhant want to have a love marriage, it is their choice. I have no objections” he said.
