Chunky is a proud father

Chunky Pandey is extremely proud of his daughter Ananya and is happy to see his little daughter grow. “I am extremely happy. I am happy that people have liked Ananya’s work in her debut film Student of the Year 2. Even my work in Saaho has been appreciated a lot but I am happier and excited for my daughter’s success,” says an elated father.

“As a father it is the happiest moment. Now, I am known as Ananya’s father. Karan Johar had predicted this and I did know this will happen right after her first film,” he adds.

The Tezaab actor is amazed at the kind of exposure today’s generation is getting. “Yes definitely, they are all lucky kids. My film Aag Hee Aag, was a golden jubilee and people did notice me. But the real fame came after two-three years with Tezaab and Paap Ki Duniya. For her, it is a different thing today as with the digital medium you get noticed very soon,” says Chunky.

 “However, it has a good and bad side, like bullying, dirty comments, etc. Today it is the golden time for cinema and a best time for newcomers. There is Twitter, Youtube and one can show their talent, whereas we didn’t have all this. We had to take our photos to the producer’s office and had to do a screen test,” he recalls.
