Hrithik reacts to row with Kangana, this time without a legal notice
Mumbai: After Rakesh Roshan said that he and his son were no 'loose talkers' to make unsubstantiated claims, Hrithik Roshan has also also reacted to his controversial row with Kangana Ranaut.
Even when the controversy broke out in 2016, Hrithik and his father Rakesh have only dealt in legal notices and have hardly said more than ‘truth will come out’ or ‘our claims will be shocking’.
And after Hrithik’s controversial tweet saying there were more chances of him dating the pope than the women in question post Kangana's ‘silly exes’ comment which started it all, the actor has taken to social media on the controversy for the first time.
Hrithik wrote an open letter on Twitter on the controversy for the first time, slamming most allegations on him in the most dignified manner.
In his post, Hrithik writes how he intends to just focus on creativity, productivity and constructive work and how he tends to ignore everything else as that is the best way to ‘discourage any unwanted persistent intrusions.’
But because the situation has turned ‘malignant’ like a health issue, he had no option but to react.
Blaming the media for refusing to talk about the row, the actor says that he has been dragged into the ‘dirty perverse mess’ without his choice.
He goes on to say how, without naming Kangana, he has never met the lady one on one, except for working together.
He also slams reports of their so-called engagement in Paris in January 2014, by saying there was no mention of an abroad trip in the said period on his passport, and how there wasn’t even a selfie taken as memento for the 'ceremony' or any other paparazzi pictures or evidences proving their alleged seven-year long affair.
He also called his 'intimate picture' with Kangana ‘photoshopped’ and how it was exposed by his ex-wife Sussanne the very next day.
The actor denies that he was fighting the allegation of an affair, or portraying himself as a ‘’good guy’ by testifying in defence of his character, but asserted that he was only human and only protecting himself from 'far more serious, sensitive and destructive than that.'
He also says that he was okay with the theory of the man being the aggressor and woman being the victim or that the latter cannot lie. But he says he has been taught to protect women and would teach his kids to stand up for them too.
And about the recent leak of some of the 3000 emails allegedly sent by Kangana to Hrithik, he said it was up to the Cyber-Crime Department to prove whether it was sent by him to himself, like Kangana claims, or were one-sided like what he believes.
