Karan Kapadia's debut goes on floors with aunt Dimple giving Mahurat shot
Mumbai: Despite the debate on nepotism reaching its peak last year, it seems kids from film families are keen to join the film industry.
2018 might just go down in history as the year of the star kids.
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara, Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi, Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan are confirmed to make their Bollywood debuts this year, while reports of Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya joining the industry are also doing the rounds.
Another kid associated with a film family, Dimple Kapadia’s nephew Karan Kapadia is also set to make his debut.
Karan has kicked off the shoot of his debut and aunt Dimple was there by his side snapping the clapboard for the Mahurat shot.
Dimple, who has decades of experience in the industry, also had words of wisdom for Karan and the director Behzad Khambata, who is also making his debut.
Karan has prepped hard for his debut, training in martial arts for six months by following in the footsteps of his cousin’s husband Akshay Kumar and has even learning horse-riding and swimming.
His debut film has been produced by Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti, Tony D'Souza and Vishal Rana.
