Second time’s the charm for amyra

Actress Amyra Dastur didn’t strike a chord with her first Tollywood film Manasuku Nachindi directed by Manjula Ghattamaneni. The actress is now hoping that her second Telugu film Rajugadu, opposite Raj Tarun, does well at the box office. Though the shooting of this  film finished early, the release got delayed. The comic caper is finally releasing on June 1.

That’s not all. The actress is also looking forward to her Hindi film Rajma Chawal directed by Leena Yadav. In this film, she will be seen playing a rebellious character. She is also sporting a different look that is uncannily similar to Rooney Mara from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

However, in the Telugu film, she is playing a simple girl next door. But due to her edgy hairstyle for her Hindi film, she had to wear a wig for the Telugu film.
