What's on? Madhuri Dixit's Bucket List'
The actress who dominated the film industry in the ’90s is back in the news. As Madhuri Dixit gears up for her latest release, Bucket List, she reveals that doing a Marathi film was part of her bucket list, which has now been fulfilled.
Talking about her personal wish list, Madhuri Dixit says, “My bucket list keeps expanding. I take up challenges and when I achieve them, I take up new challenges. So it never ends. Doing a Marathi film was on my bucket list for a long time. To be able to do this film is one of the biggest things for me."
Soon, the actress will also be seen reuniting with old friends, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in Total Dhamaal and Kalank. Talking about the reunion she said: “I am very excited because we have given some big hits together…me and Anil and me and Sanjay and it’s wonderful working together again. We have started shooting for Kalank and it’s been wonderful so far.”
One of Madhuri’s iconic dance number’s, Ek Do Teen, was recently recreated for Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2, which also featured Jacqueline Fernandez.
The song got a mixed response from the audience. However, Madhuri refused to comment on the song, saying, “I have not seen it.”
The actress added that people may not have liked the remake because they were too attached with the original song. “There is nothing wrong with remaking. I, myself, am doing the remake of Paisa Hee Paisa song. You can’t say it is a bad thing to do. It was cute. It is an iconic song so they wanted to make it, but differently. People were very attached to ‘Ek Do Teen’ song and so they didn’t want to see the remake. You can't blame the makers,” she said.
Many critics also didn’t appreciate Jacqueline Fernandez’s dance performance in the remake. However, Madhuri does not agree with them.
“I love Jacqueline Fernandez. I love the way she dances; she is so cute,” she says.
