I am living my dream, says Sushant Singh Rajput

Indian movie actor Sushant Singh Rajput has recently made his entrepreneurial debut.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput is talented, popular and among the A-list stars in the industry, and he has also managed to avoid the trappings of stardom and keep alive his interest in areas outside the world of cinema. The star has now turned entrepreneur and is enjoying this new first in his life.

“It feels great to be an entrepreneur, and since I come from an engineering background, exponential technologies have always been of keen interest to me. Hence it was about time that I launched my own venture,” says Sushant.

Sushant’s venture Innsaei (an ancient Icelandic word for intuition), in partnership with serial entrepreneur Varun Mathur, aims to focus on content and communication, health and holistic wellness, education and learning and business incubation.

“We chose the word Innsaei since we aim to make the society more aware of what will happen in the future with the disruption of emerging technologies, and the kind of right decisions they need to make,” says Sushant, elaborating on the venture, “Rapid technological innovations are increasingly disrupting socio-cultural and economic structures and this will impact areas like education, employment, entertainment and health. This is the right time to create innovative solutions that will allow people to be better prepared for these disruptions. Our aim is to tap into the growing intellectual property market.”

He enjoys the challenge of a role that isn’t easy for him to sink his teeth into, and he loves walking the road less travelled. “I try to take up projects that challenge me, and need me to work to prepare for the role. Acting is not only my work, but also living my childhood dreams. I am working on a project which allows me to go and train in NASA, so my dream of being an astronaut is achieved,” he says.

Composed, grounded and level headed, Sushant Singh Rajput says he lives in the moment and does not set goals for himself. “I don’t set goals for myself at all, it’s a very counter-intuitive thing. I believe that the more you are present in certain scenarios the more productive you become. Hence, I will always be productive in whatever I do at any given moment,” he signs off.
