Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty may well collaborate for their 13th film together. Baba and Anna had been a potent combination in many films, but interestingly, they are coming back together after 13 years when they were seen together in the film Shootout at Lokhandwala.
Karnik has always been known for his casting coups. The director who had got Aishwarya Rai, Viveik Oberoi and Amitabh Bachchan as the cast for his debut film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na… later managed to get all the three Deols Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby for Yamla Pagla Deewana.
In between, he managed a huge cast where he had Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Preity Zinta among a host of second-rung stars.
And for a while, he has been trying to work out another casting coup with Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham. Now we are told by reliable sources that the cast of the film is now locked. We might see Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and R. Madhavan toplining the cast of the film which will have a lot more actors in it.
“Samir was trying hard to work out his casting coup magic, but it did not work out because everyone is too busy at the moment and unsure of how and when things will move post lockdown. But Sanju has given his nod for the film, and now Suniel and Madhavan have also agreed to come on board the project, which looks good to go,” says a source.
