Angela’s woes far from over

After Hrithik Roshan graciously acknowledged Angela’s tweet clarifying her stance and wished her the very best in her career, it looked like the controversy about him ‘mentoring her career’ had finally ended on a positive note.

However, sources reveal that the nightmare is far from over for the actress, who has been on the receiving end ever since. While she continues to be trolled on the social media by Hrithik’s fans, there is talk that she has been receiving calls from all and sundry in the Bollywood fraternity, raising questions about her future in Hindi films, and condemning her for ‘offending an influential superstar like Hrithik Roshan.’

Among those so-called ‘influential’ names, who are casting aspersions on her Bollywood career, allegedly is famed casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, who has been instrumental in making stars of newcomers, and has done the casting of several big films like Chennai Express, Tamasha, Rockstar, Gangs of Wasseypur, and more recently, Dangal. Chhabra is rumoured to have told the actress that her confession signified the end of her career in Bollywood. It is strange as to what connect Chhabra has with Hrithik Roshan, unless the former was planning to cast her in a Bollywood film. But as of now, Angela is well on her way to consolidating her career in the south and it may be a while before she explores Bollywood films. Besides, a source close to her asks, what wrong has she done by stating that he is “an inspiration” and she considers him a mentor and good friend?
