It’s a boy for Shahid Kapoor and Mira

Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira gave birth to their second child, a boy, late on Wednesday night, making their 2-year-old daughter Misha an elder sister.

As news of the new arrival spread, several colleagues and well-wishers dropped by to congratulate the couple at the hospital. And among the first people to arrive were Shahid’s mother Neelima Azim and brother Ishaan. Not surprisingly, the grandmother could scarcely contain her joy.

“I feel on top of the world. God bless the couple and their children. Now, my son’s family is complete, and I am profoundly happy,” she said, adding “My jaan, Misha, has a baby brother now. She is a wonderful little girl, and she will be a very caring didi (elder sister).”

Shahid Kapoor who’s a fitness freak got his gym equipments to Tehri during the shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu. According to the sources, the hotel where he stayed had no fitness facilities, so the actor set up his own gym on the premises. Shahid had a pleasant stay at the hotel and as a gesture of gratitude left the equipments behind.

The actor was however unaware that the hotel owner did not consider it a gift and paid the production full amount for the equipments. Shahid later came to know about it and was touched by the owner’s professionalism. Starring Shahid kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam the film has been widely shot in Uttarakhand.
