Janhvi Kapoor to have solo item number in Dhadak, rehearses for it without break?

Mumbai: Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Dhadak’ has a lot of expectations riding from the movie.

‘Dhadak’ is the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairat’, which is most remembered for its songs like ‘Zingaat’ and the title track ‘Sairat Zhala Ji’. So obviously, a lot has been expected from ‘Dhadak’ too.

And the expectations might just be met, as Mumbai Mirror reports that the movie will have a racy dance number which will see Janhvi Kapoor in a solo performance.

The daily further went on to report that Janhvi rehearsed for the song set in Rajasthan recently, without any breaks. It claims Tusshar said that actress insisted on completing rehearsals in one stretch and he was the one to interject and request her to take a break.

“The song which focuses only on Janhvi does not have a name yet nor has it been recorded. We worked with the scratch, the singer will be finalised shortly. Since it’s a new addition, I had no reference point from the original. Fortunately Janhvi’s an extremely confident girl and didn’t say ‘no’ to any of the difficult steps,” informs Tushar.

Janhvi reportedly rehearsed for two days straight with choreographer Tushar Kalia before filming it recently in Mumbai over a 24-hour schedule.

Tushar even mentioned that both producer Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan keep great knowledge of dance and both contributed equally towards the particular song performance too.
