Court case delays Race 3 trailer launch
With a legal battle in tow, Salman Khan is hanging onto the trailer launch of his upcoming film Race 3. The actor appeared at the Jodhpur sessions court on Sunday as he fights the five-year conviction in the blackbuck killing case.
Though the filmmakers were keen on launching the trailer on Saturday, it was Salman who was in no mood to get the trailer of Race 3 out.
“Bhai was pretty tense and he wanted some changes made to the trailer, but he could not apply his mind to it. Even though he has a temporary relief in the form of the bail and the permission to fight the case in the higher courts,” says a source, adding, “Salman Bhai wants the trailer to be perfect and incorporate key elements of the film. Hence, he has asked for time to review the trailer before it is out on social media.”
Meanwhile, there was chaos at the Jodhpur airport as well as the sessions court when he arrived. “One reporter who virtually shoved his channel mic on Salman’s face was aptly dealt with. Salman’s bodyguard Shera was pretty careful this time around and made sure that he removed the mic and the reporter from Salman’s vicinity. He made sure that Salman boarded the vehicle to the court. Shera and his team had earlier been guilty of hurting the media when they have been overzealous in trying to get bytes from Salman,” says an eyewitness.
