When Huma Qureshi insulted the paps

Actress Huma Qureshi seems to be suffering from short-term memory loss. Recently, she and her brother Saqib Saleem had a party at their house after Eid. While a few celebrities were on the guest list, a few photographers from the media were also called by her PR agency to come and cover the event.

Apparently, getting the media to cover your parties is the new show of strength in Bollywood. But when the photographers and videographers who came to the event started shooting, Huma did a volte face, and asked, “Who invited you here?”

The paparazzi who have been working in the industry for the past 20 odd years were snubbed and felt very insulted by her behaviour. They did not appreciate what Huma did. So, they decided to boycott the rest of the event and left in a huff.

We think it’s time that Huma coordinates her preferences appropriately with her team and learns to deal with unexpected situations gracefully. Alternatively,  remembering not to forget would work as well.
