Ranveer Singh who delivered 2018’s highest grosser, Padmaavat, earlier this year has started work on his next film, Simmba, which is an official remake of the Telugu blockbuster film Temper.
Our sources reveal, “The film’s first schedule has been shot at Ramoji film city in Hyderabad at a blitzkrieg speed, and 35% of the film’s shooting has been completed.”
The sequence being shot at the moment shows Ranveer in his adolescence, falling in love with a simple girl. “This is the last sequence of the first schedule. After this, the first schedule will be wrapped up by the end of this week,” our source says.
Simmba stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Sonu Sood in the lead roles. It is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Rohit Shetty. And it is slated for release on December 28, 2018.
